This active family was in need of additional storage for their sporting gear and lawn tools. Unwilling to move from a coveted Tudor home in their Brookside neighborhood, these creative Homeowners petitioned for a variance to their local building guidelines to add square footage to their garage. This allowed them better accessibility to their two car garage, closed storage for their lawn tools and recycling bins and locked organized storage for all those bikes, basketballs and skateboards. The added bonus to this little gem is the architectural interest it provided to a once forgotten side of their home.
